Description
The Scruffs Expedition Box Beds are the ideal solution for dogs that enjoy outdoor pursuits such as beach walking and muddy forest trails. This waterproof dog bed collection is produced using a heavy-duty, 600-denier fabric, providing a robust, durable outer cover.
The reverse side of the fabric is coated with a 100% water resistant backing to prevent the ingress of water, making it a good choice for an outdoor dog bed. The same waterproof backing is applied to the dog beds non-slip base.
For improved support, the box beds are constructed using a one-piece design. The centre cushion of the dog bed forms an integral section, maximising the bed's strength and durability. These pet beds are filled with a 100% polyester filling with unmatched cushioning, resilience and insulation characteristics.
This is available in multiple sizes and colours.

Washing Instructions
- Remove cover to wash the cover only. The bed has a zip section in the base to remove the middle cushion.
- Do not wash the middle, inner cushion.
- Do not bleach or tumble dry

This is the 5th Scruffs bed we've had for our dogs. We're on our 5th because we've needed different sizes over the years, not because they've worn out. Dogs seem to find them very comfortable, and the sides give them support when they want a pillow.

It was my second purchase of an Expedition dog bed. The first, purchased about 5 years ago, has stood the test of time. Unfortunately the quality control was not great on the new bed as one of the seams had a hole in it. However, Scruffs couldn’t have done more to sort the situation out. It’s a really great company with excellent products and good customer service.

We went for this bed for the fabric which is tougher and suitable for dogs that like getting wet and muddy. It’s is easy to clean, hoover and washes well so a great product. The first one that arrived had a small rip in the seam and Scruffs replaced it immediately - great service!

I already had one of these and wanted a second for another room in the house. Unfortunately my mini Daschund managed to chew the stitching and empty some of the stuffing within 10 minutes of unwrapping it. There is probably not a daxi-proof dog bed available anywhere on the planet though! I would recommend and would buy another.
